Senior Mens Head Coach

Trent Fuller

The Sandgate Hawks are pleased to announce the return of 2024 Senior Men’s Premiership coach Trent Fuller, for the 2025 season. In 2023, Trent oversaw an undefeated Reserve Grade flag, followed by another incredible year of success in 2024 with his first year as a senior coach, bringing home the Senior Men’s Brisbane North Division 2 Premiership Cup. In two years as a coach, Trent has lost one game, a remarkable feat!

A long time Hawks man, Trent has been able to create the perfect environment for our players to grow and develop, as well as bringing a highly successful structure and game plan that allowed the group to flourish and achieve the ultimate success!

Senior Womens Head Coach

Ben Long

With plenty of history at the Hawks, this will be Ben’s 11th year as a coach at the club, as well as a long playing history at Hawks that stretches back to 1995. Ben was also this years SQ Representative Coach and lead SQ to a win over North Queensland. 2025 will also see him coach his 300th game. After leading the inaugural Division 1 team to a Preliminary Final last year, as well as taking the girls to this years Grand Final, Longy is keen to return and go one better in 2025. Longy is passionate about growing the incredible Female Program in 2025 would is excited to see what 2025 has in store!

Senior Mens Reserves Coach

David Fellowes

Sandgate Hawks are please to announce David Fellowes will be taking on the Senior Reserve Grade coaching role in 2025. A long time Sandgate Hawk, “Cooky” has plenty of history at Lemke Rd. He was a member of the 2011-11 Reserve Grade Premiership teams, has played close to 100 games of senior footy and most recently has been an Assistant Coach with the club. A passionate Hawk with plenty of footy experience and knowledge, we are excited to see how Cooky goes leading the Ressies boys in 2025!

Senior Womens Reserves Coach

Michael Barlow

Sandgate Hawks are happy to welcome Michael Barlow back to coach our QFAW Division 1 Reserve grade in 2025. Mick rejoined the club as coach in 2024, having previously playing in the green and red in his youth days. He had spent time at Redcliffe as an Assistant Coach in the past few years in their women’s program. Mick did an excellent job this season in his first year with a very new group, he has built terrific relationships with the players and is a terrific asset to the club.
